Connect Procore
Link your Procore account to access RFIs, submittals, daily logs, and more through WORKWAY MCP.
Prerequisites
- WORKWAY MCP installed in Claude Desktop or Cursor
- Active Procore account with appropriate permissions
- Access to at least one Procore company and project
Initiate connection
Ask Claude to connect your Procore account.
"Connect my Procore account"
Claude will use the procore_connect tool to start the OAuth flow.
Authorize with Procore
You'll be redirected to Procore's authorization page.
OAuth Authorization Flow
- 1.Claude provides a URL to Procore's authorization page
- 2.Click the URL to open in your browser
- 3.Log in to Procore if you aren't already
- 4.Review the permissions and click "Allow"
- 5.You'll be redirected back to WORKWAY
Secure OAuth 2.0
Your Procore credentials are never shared with WORKWAY. We only receive a secure token that can be revoked at any time from your Procore settings.
Select company and project
Choose which Procore company and project to work with.
Company Selection
If you have access to multiple Procore companies, Claude will ask which one to use:
"Use the Acme Construction company"
Project Selection
Then select which project to work with:
"Select the Downtown Office Tower project"
Switching projects
You can switch projects at any time by asking: "Switch to [project name] project" or "List my Procore projects"
Permissions Requested
WORKWAY MCP requests the following permissions from your Procore account:

You can revoke access at any time from Procore Settings → Integrations
Test Your Connection
Try these commands to verify your Procore connection is working:
"List all open RFIs"
Shows all RFIs in your selected project
"Show me submittals pending approval"
Lists submittals awaiting review
"What's in today's daily log?"
Retrieves the latest daily log entries
Troubleshooting
"No projects found"
- • Verify you have access to at least one project in Procore
- • Check that your Procore permissions include project access
- • Try selecting a different company if you have multiple
"Authorization failed"
- • Make sure you clicked "Allow" on the Procore authorization page
- • Check that pop-ups aren't blocked in your browser
- • Try the connection process again from the beginning
"Access denied" for specific resources
- • Your Procore role may not have access to that resource
- • Contact your Procore administrator to request permissions
- • Some features may be limited based on your Procore plan
